Train to Istanbul (Day 7)

Our train left at 7:50 am and before we left, we grabbed burek at a bakery right by Ian's apartment that he recommended. There are actually two types of burek, and in Belgrade, the burek is more of a pie instead of the tube-looking thing in my previous pictures. You can still get it with meat, cheese, potatoes, and even cheese and ham inside. Both Layne and I decided that they burek in Bar was much better, but this one was still good and provided our only real meal of the day.

There is not too much to write about this day because we were literally sleeping all day and night. We had to get off the train in the middle of the night though to buy an entry visa for Turkey and it took forever. There was only one man working for the entire train. Eventually we got our visa and our passport stamped and were on the road again. We went back to sleep and when we woke up, we were only about an hour outside Istanbul!
